Firmware Updates
Firmware updates add new features and fix issues. Updates are performed locally through the admin panel on your PaxTime device.
Update Steps
- Download the firmware file
Obtain the firmware file from PaxTime support or your retailer.
- Unlock the device
Go to
/mpand enter your authenticator code. - Open the admin panel
Navigate to
/admin. - Select Firmware Upgrade
Find and tap the Firmware Upgrade option.

- Upload the firmware file
Select the firmware file you downloaded and confirm the upload.

- Wait for the update to complete
PaxTime will apply the update and restart automatically.
Important: Do Not Interrupt
- Do not unplug PaxTime during the update
- Do not close the browser window
- Wait for the device to restart on its own
Verifying the Update
After the device restarts, check the firmware version in the footer of the PaxTime interface. Compare it to the expected version number provided with the firmware file.
